Vibration

The REED Instruments SD-8205 is used to measure the vibration level over a short time interval. Vibration analysis is a process that monitors the vibration level and examines the patterns of vibration signals. It is typically performed both directly on the time waveforms of the vibration signal and on the frequency spectrum, which is obtained by applying a transformation to the time waveform. The measuring device is calibrated according to the ISO standard.

The Omnidots SWARM vibration measuring device, which utilizes MEMS (Micro-ElectroMechanical Systems) technology, is used to measure long-term continuous vibration. SWARM allows the configuration of measuring points remotely via the Honeycomb web platform, where we also have access to measurement data 24/7 in real time, from anywhere in the world using a laptop, smartphone, and/or tablet. Measurement data is automatically sent from the SWARM to the Honeycomb platform via 4G/LTE or WiFi.
Omnidots SWARM measures Vtop (PPV / Peak Particle Velocity) and Atop (PPA / Peak Particle Acceleration) according to the DIN4150-3, BS7385, and SBR-A standards.
The measuring device is calibrated according to the ISO standard.
